The Best Burger I’ve Had in Japan: RAMBLE BURGER in Aomori
I borrowed a book from the library the other day.
It was a book introducing delicious hamburgers in Japan, and sure enough, every burger in it looked absolutely amazing.
But there was just one thing that bothered me.
The hamburger I personally think is the best in Japan was not in that book.
By “the best in Japan,” I mean the best hamburger I have ever eaten in Japan, since I have not eaten hamburgers overseas yet.
So today, I would like to introduce my favorite hamburger.
Why Does This Burger Drive Me So Crazy?
I tried two kinds of burgers here: the Avocado Burger and the Teriyaki Chicken Burger.

Both of them were incredibly delicious, but first, let me talk about what they have in common.
First, the volume.
Just look at this beautifully arranged, wonderfully massive burger.
There is a special kind of happiness in opening your mouth as wide as possible, taking a big bite, and getting sauce all over your face.
Some restaurants serve big burgers like this with a knife and fork, but RAMBLE BURGER does not do that.
They want you to enjoy the hamburger with your whole body.
Then, the patty.
The patty is meaty, thinly grilled, and slightly crispy.
There does not seem to be much filler, so the pure taste of the meat hits your brain and makes it scream, “I am eating meat right now! This is so good!”
It is probably beef. The menu does not clearly say so, but I think it is probably beef.
Because it is just too good.
The juice from the patty mixes with the burger sauce, making the whole hamburger even more delicious.
Next, the vegetables.
Everything is fresh, juicy, and delicious.
And because there are plenty of vegetables, I do not feel guilty while eating it.
Yes, I know hamburgers are high in calories. But it is fine.
There are lots of vegetables, so the nutritional balance must be fine. Probably.
And please look at how beautiful the avocado is.
I have eaten avocado at many hamburger shops. I have also eaten many kinds of avocado dishes, not just hamburgers.
But the avocado in this burger is the best avocado I have ever eaten.
Seriously.
Then, the cheese.
Unfortunately, although I love cheese, I cannot tell you exactly what kind of cheese this is.
But let me say this: it is rich, flavorful, and makes a wonderful accent.
Look at it. It is yellow.
That means the flavor is strong.
And finally, the buns.
To be honest, the buns might be my favorite part of this burger.
What I love most is that the top bun is toasted until it becomes slightly crispy.
That little crispness creates a lovely contrast with the soft ingredients inside, and it makes eating the burger even more enjoyable.
Avocado Burger
The Avocado Burger is the most popular choice among women.
It can sell out once the ingredients run out, so if you want to try it, I recommend going right when the restaurant opens.
As I mentioned earlier, the greatest charm of the Avocado Burger is, of course, the avocado.
It comes in two luxurious styles: rich and creamy avocado spread, and sliced avocado.
Once you try it, I am sure you will want to eat it again.
Actually, while writing this and remembering the taste, I started craving it all over again.
Teriyaki Burger
The best part of the Teriyaki Chicken Burger is the combination of teriyaki sauce and mayonnaise.
And between them is a thick fried egg, cooked perfectly somewhere between fully cooked and soft.
And then… meat.
There is no way this could taste bad.
Unlike the Avocado Burger, this one has the amazing combination of two sauces and egg yolk mixing together, and the result is ridiculously delicious.
When people think of Japanese flavors, teriyaki is one of the first things that comes to mind.
If you want to try a satisfying, full-flavored teriyaki burger, I highly recommend this one.
There are also several other delicious burgers on the menu, so please check them out if you are interested.
I seriously do not think you will regret it.

Basic Information

The parking lot only has space for about three cars, and it is a little far to walk from Aomori Station, so please keep that in mind.
The restaurant has seating for about 20 people, so it may be difficult to visit with a large group.
The shop may also be closed for events, so if you are planning to go, I recommend checking the official Instagram for the latest schedule.
When traveling in Japan, many people probably want to eat local food from the area they are visiting.
But still!
If you are in Aomori and think, “Today, I want to eat something truly delicious,” please consider RAMBLE BURGER.
For me, RAMBLE BURGER is the best reward burger you can eat in Aomori.
